Teen SOYO Event: Bolwing
Join Teen SOYO for a fun evening of bowling, fellowship, and time together with friends. This event is a chance for our teens to relax, enjoy one another’s company, and grow stronger as a group outside of our regular church activities. We will spend the evening bowling and taking part in cosmic bowling. Final cost details will be shared soon. We ask all teens to check the event in GroupMe and mark whether they plan to attend so we can prepare well.
Teen SOYO Event: Holy Friday All Night Vigil
Teen SOYO invites our teens to gather for a Holy Friday All Night Vigil at St. George Orthodox Church in Flint. On this holy night, we will stay together at the church in prayer, reflection, and fellowship as we remember the passion, crucifixion, and burial of our Lord Jesus Christ. This vigil is a special time for our teens to be present in the life of the Church, keep watch together, and enter more deeply into the meaning of Holy Week.

SOYO Members strive to live the Orthodox faith, daily, in Christ, through Worship. Witness. Service and Fellowship Mission Statement: Our mission is to bring teens of St. George closer to each other and the church, but most importantly closer to Christ. We aim to strengthen our faith as Orthodox Christians and help prepare for the future so that we may be able to make the right decisions through Christ and pass the word down generation to generation.
